This project is very interesting, as it shows Acústica Integral’s technical and executive capacity to solve noise regulation non-compliances.
This is a pharmaceutical company, with outdoor air conditioning equipment which at night does not comply with the sound level regulations in the homes near the installation.
Initially, the engineering team carried out a preliminary acoustic study to determine the optimum solution for this installation. It decided to install some acoustic barriers of particular characteristics, that according to the study carried allowed for the night sift’s sound levels to meet the regulations.
The next phase of the work was focused on our technical office, which together with the client and his requirements, allowed developing the structure project, guaranteeing the solidity of the set by means of structural calculations made to size.
The work performed by the technical office allowed reaching a sufficient level of technical detail in order for the client to provide the necessary information and evaluate the interactions between the proposed acoustic solution and the requirements of the installation regarding maintenance. It is fundamental that the acoustic and structural elements do not alter the normal operation of the client’s installation.
The drawings above shows that the acoustic barrier adapts its shape so that the highest acoustic performance is achieved, while at the same time it enables the optimal ventilation of the machines. Below the floor line, an acoustic skirt is built, avoiding the indirect paths of the noise radiation. The whole acoustic insulation system has been made with Acustimodul-80 acoustic panels, which enable guaranteeing an adequate watertightness thanks to the tongue and groove assembly system.
Once the acoustic treatment was conducted by our assembly teams, both on a structural and acoustic level, it was verified that the sound levels complied with the noise regulation requirements, and the measurement was performed by an ECA that is not related to Acústica Integral group’s services. This enables us to guarantee the results without conflict of interest.
A major project that enables us to state Acústica Integral’s technical and constructive capacity, assuming our client’s problems as our own, and accompanying them throughout the process to guarantee the optimal result, once the project’s solution is assembled.
