Industrial production environments are very complex regarding noise. The constant fight against noise in the industry means that we have to carry out ingenious acoustic treatments that allow for the production processes to be maintained, but also control the noise emissions.
The case we are treating here requires a high level of expertise in acoustic solutions, since it is not only about reducing the noise, but also adapting the acoustic solutions to the needs of the ORP, production and maintenance departments.
The cabin in this industry is in charge of attenuating the noise in a process called core setter drive headers. The product is placed through two windows in the pallets that will be activated to gain height, by means of a bellows system. The product reaches the height of the operators who collect it and then place it on conveyour belts that feed the machine that makes the moulds from the cores introduced.
As we can see in the description, the process is complex. Acústica Integral has made the acoustic cabin with Acustimodul-80A type modular, insulating and absorbent acoustic panels. The interior of the cabin is accessed through the RS5C acoustic door with rectangular viewer, and the viewing requirements of the interior and exterior process are solved with VRC type acoustic viewers.
To perform the installation of this acoustic element our technical department has carried out some previous work, elaborating all the plans and developments necessary to integrate the acoustic treatment into the process. Moreover, all the workers’ production, maintenance and safety requirements were taken into account in collaboration with the different departments.
The result is an acoustic cabinet with excellent performance, adapted to the customer’s needs.
