PRESENTATION
A noise problem occurred in a cardboard packaging manufacturing industry. The noise limit values established in RD286/2006 were exceeded. For this reason, the company contacted Acústica Integral to develop a solution that had to achieve multiple objectives:
The design of a solution that meet the acoustic criteria of the standard in workplaces close to the screens.
The design of an acoustic insulation system that affected the production process as little as possible.
The adaptation of the accesses to the enclosure with systems that were easily accessible to workers.
The customised design of the machine to be treated, including acoustic treatment for moving parts.
The acoustic treatment of the machine’s moving parts has many added difficulties, as it must ensure the watertightness of the acoustic screening, and therefore, its acoustic reduction. The machine’s noise problem was studied and a constructive solution was proposed with acoustic panels Acustimódul-80A in acoustic screen format. The level of insulation of this type of solution allows reaching the necessary acoustic isolation values for the work stations of the machine’s environment being treated.
To access the interior of the enclosure, RSR type sliding acoustic doors were chosen, guaranteeing insulation and maximum accessibility. In order to be able to see the processes from the outside, VRC acoustic visors were incorporated as well as visors for the acoustic doors.
The final result of the treatment allowed achieving the acoustic objectives, as well as the customer’s requirements.
